We produce water
and oxygen for life

La Fundación para el Desarrollo del Centro Biológico Las Quebradas (FUDEBIOL) was founded on May 13, 1989, driven by the concern of a group of residents from the community of Quebradas de Pérez Zeledón in response to the accelerated loss of forests and the deterioration of the water sources that supply the city of San Isidro de El General.

Fudebiol

FUDEBIOL’s work is carried out through environmental projects, conservation programs, educational initiatives, and services that promote sustainable development in the Quebradas River basin. Each of these contributes to protecting water, conserving forests, and strengthening the relationship between people and nature.

Key Objectives

We focus on protecting water springs, protecting biodiversity, educating the community and supporting sustainable development in harmony with nature.
